The new cyclone will bring heavy precipitation to the territory of the Trans-Baikal Territory. The weather is expected to worsen from 27 to 29 June.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, a week earlier, 140 mm of precipitation fell in the region with a norm of 70 mm. The current flood wave has not yet left Transbaikalia. The staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, together with representatives of municipalities, monitor the condition of the dams and control the water level at key points. The peak of the flood on the Nercha River is expected on the night of June 25.

A new wave of bad weather is expected by the end of the week. Up to 15 mm of precipitation will fall in the north and west of Transbaikalia.

In the Orenburg region, 188 residential buildings and 361 household plots were flooded as a result of heavy rains. More than 90 people were evacuated from the flood zone.
