More than 120 educational facilities to be built in Moscow

More than 120 educational facilities are being built in Moscow at the same time, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in the Maks messenger. Investors are actively involved in the development of social infrastructure, the head of Moscow noted.

More than 56,000 students and almost 20,000 preschoolers will go to new kindergartens, schools and educational complexes, Sobyanin said. "The capital pays special attention to the development of social infrastructure," the mayor stressed, adding that this is in line with the goals and initiatives of the Infrastructure for Life national project.

In Tsaritsyn, on Sevanskaya Street, the construction of a kindergarten with a swimming pool for 250 children, music and physical education halls is being completed. The building will accommodate 10 groups. The facility is expected to be commissioned this year.

Another educational complex for more than 2 thousand children will appear on Lobachevsky Street in Ramenki. Universal and specialized classrooms are being equipped for schoolchildren. The school will have a media library, laboratory and research facilities, an IT training ground, and four gyms. The kindergarten block has 14 groups, music and physical education halls, and an office for educational activities. The construction will be completed at the end of 2027.

Earlier, Sobyanin announced the start of construction of a new educational complex in the Khoroshevsky district of Moscow. The building in 3rd Khoroshevsky Passage will have a kindergarten for 175 kids and a school for 400 students.
