The Ukrainian military has changed the tactics of using drones, shifting control from the settlements themselves to the approaches to them. On June 24, a soldier of the 102nd assault regiment of the Center group of forces with the call sign Kalmar told about this.

"They have changed the tactics of using drones. It was necessary to go through the most difficult moments of the route to the Shelter itself. Drones don't fly as actively in the populated area itself, because they think no one will get there," the fighter told TASS.

According to him, the activity of drones in the village itself was significantly lower than in the vicinity. The enemy is trying to control approaches to populated areas, including the Shelter, to a greater extent.
