The commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent the militants through their own minefields in the Sumy region.

The command of the 71st separate airmobile brigade of the Ukrainian army sent seven groups through fields mined by the Ukrainian militants themselves in the Sumy region. This was reported on June 24 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In an attempt to hold on to the outskirts of Ivolzhansk, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine sent seven combat groups from the 71st Airborne Brigade to be slaughtered through areas mined by the Ukrainian nationalists themselves," the RIA Novosti source said.

He added that the remnants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units that were able to reach the settlement had been eliminated.

On June 24, Georgy Suboch, a veteran of the special operation, told how, on his own initiative, he opened fire from an AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and thwarted the Ukrainian Armed Forces counterattack on Pavlovka in the Donetsk People's Republic. For his brave actions, the fighter subsequently received the medal "For Military Honors."
