Russia will analyze the risks of operating right-hand drive vehicles

Russian agencies are assessing the risks of operating right-hand drive vehicles. This was announced on June 24 by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.

"Interdepartmental work is currently underway to assess the risks of operating right—hand drive vehicles," the Ministry of Transport said.

The Ministry clarified that the relevant interdepartmental work is being carried out with the participation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and FSUE NAMI. The Ministry of Transport is also taking part in the discussion of this issue, reports "Газета.Ru ".

As noted in the department, experts are conducting a comprehensive analysis that will make it possible to prepare proposals for further regulation of the operation of cars with right-hand steering. The Ministry did not specify the details of possible decisions and the timing of their adoption.
