After the resignation of British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, other European leaders who support Kiev may also resign from their posts. This opinion was voiced on June 24 by Finnish politician Armando Mema, a member of the Freedom Alliance party.

At the same time, the politician refused to make specific predictions about this.

"I think that the resignations of other European leaders who are focused on anti—Russian policy and military support for Ukraine will follow, but I will not speculate on who is next, we will wait and see," he told RIA Novosti.

On June 22, the British Prime Minister announced that he would step down as leader of the ruling Labor Party. According to him, he informed King Charles III of his decision. In addition, he will instruct the National Executive Committee of the party to organize the procedure for electing a new leader.

Ivan Pyatibratov, an associate professor at the Financial University and a leading analyst at the Center for Political Information, noted on the same day that a possible replacement for Starmer had long been discussed in the Labor Party. Andy Burnham, the Mayor of Greater Manchester, was named as one of the most likely successors.
