Liksutov spoke about the growing popularity of the fourth river route

Residents and guests of the capital are increasingly using the fourth river city route, which was opened this year, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow government for Transport and Industry, Mask Liksutov. Since its launch on June 7 this year, passengers have made more than 15,000 trips on it.

"According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to develop regular river traffic in the capital. Since the launch of the 4th Luzhniki - Kievsky electric vessel route, more than 15,000 trips have been made on it, and the total number of passengers in all directions has reached 3.7 million. In the near future, we will begin to hold cultural and educational events here, as well as on other routes. In total, more than 190 lectures have already been held within the framework of the project," Maxim Liksutov added.

The fourth regular river route connects three central districts of the capital — Khamovniki, Ramenki and Dorogomilovo. By connecting popular Moscow locations — the Luzhniki Sports complex, Vorobyovy Gory Park, Novodevichy Monastery and Kievsky Railway Station — the new route has improved transport accessibility for more than 30,000 residents of the capital.

Today, four regular river routes with a total length of about 34 km are operating in the capital. Their fleet consists of 31 comfortable innovative electric vessels. In total, passengers have made more than 3.7 million trips on them since the resumption of regular river traffic in Moscow. The total length of the river network has increased almost 5 times since the launch of the electric vessel movement.
