Passes for fuel trucks were temporarily canceled in Moscow.

Starting from June 23, 2026, fuel tanker drivers are temporarily not required to issue passes to enter and travel around Moscow. The measure was introduced at the request of the owners of the capital and Moscow region gas station networks to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply. This was reported by the Moscow Department of Transport.

For the duration of this relief, tanker trucks were given the right to enter the city around the clock and move around its territory without special permits, as provided for in the usual procedure. In addition, fines for not having a cargo pass will not be issued to drivers of such vehicles.

At the same time, the rules of entry for freight transport continue to apply in the capital. So, drivers of cars with a maximum permissible weight of more than 3.5 tons must issue special passes for driving in Moscow. The temporary exemption of fuel trucks from these requirements is exceptional and is aimed at maintaining stable operation of urban and suburban gas stations, the metropolitan Department of Transport emphasized.

The system of cargo passes remains one of the important tools for organizing traffic in the capital. It allows you to regulate the movement of freight transport, reduce the load on city streets and ensure a more predictable traffic situation. The temporary exemption of fuel trucks from registration passes is introduced as an exceptional measure to maintain the smooth operation of urban and suburban gas stations.
