The cost of a school graduation in Russia, with an economical approach, will amount to 35-45 thousand rubles for parents, but the average budget today is 55-70 thousand rubles. Yuri Obolonsky, executive director of the National Parent Committee (NPC), said this on Tuesday, June 23.

"The basic budget of 55-70 thousand rubles includes clothes, a trip to the hairdresser. For girls, the amount is slightly more expensive, which is why the spread is. If not, and the budget is bigger, they invite a band for musical accompaniment," he explained in an interview with NSN.

Obolonsky added that parents often prefer not to save on graduate outfits.
