30 million rubles will be allocated for the reclamation of a manure storage facility near Kola.

More than 31.7 million rubles will be allocated for the reclamation of a manure storage facility on the territory of the former Snezhnaya poultry farm in the Kola District. The corresponding decree was signed by the head of the Murmansk region Andrey Chibis.

The dangerous object is located 4 km from Kola. The implementation of a set of measures to eliminate environmental damage began back in 2019. However, the work was suspended due to incorrect calculations and has not yet been completed.

According to Bi-port news agency, funds for reclamation will be allocated from the reserve fund of the regional government. As Chibis noted earlier, the implementation of the project already requires significant financial investments.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote how the issue of the liquidation of orphan cattle burial grounds and the further use of territories is being resolved in Russia. Several years ago, laws were passed on this subject, including the creation of a register of such facilities — and eventually the closure of all of them.
