In an interview with the Health Mail on Tuesday, June 23, the specialist noted that in order to maintain liver health, it is worth including more vegetables, fruits, berries, oatmeal, fatty fish and nuts in the diet. These foods are rich in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins, and healthy fatty acids that help protect liver cells and support its functions.

Olive oil, green tea, natural juices and coffee are also considered useful. According to doctors, moderate coffee consumption can reduce the risk of developing fatty hepatosis, chronic liver diseases and some oncological pathologies.

Nutritionist, gastroenterologist, and hepatologist Svetlana Biryukova said on June 8 that constant fatigue, heaviness after eating, and cravings for sweets may be associated with liver overload. In addition, liver problems can affect concentration, writes RT.

In early June, gastroenterologist Sergey Danilov spoke with Pravda.Ru said that to maintain liver health, it is useful to include foods rich in antioxidants and polyphenols in the diet, such as berries, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, citrus fruits and green tea. In April, Natalia Slyunyaeva, a gastroenterologist, warned that sugar, including in sweets, "feeds cancer cells." Its excessive use can lead to insulin spikes, chronic inflammation, and fatty liver, according to the National Health Service.
