Rostec announced the improvement of the T-90 tank based on its experience

The main tank of the Russian troops, the T-90 Proryv, is being improved by specialists based on feedback from Russian soldiers from the special operation zone. This was announced on June 23 in the press service of Rostec State Corporation.

"The T-90 is a famous tank. It has become more powerful, more protected. This process does not stop. The car continues to improve. Our specialists are improving the equipment based on new tasks coming from the front line," the message on the Telegram channel reads.

Nikolay Volobuev, Deputy General Director of the state corporation, noted that the knowledge of the SVO fighters with real experience in working with equipment is very useful for updating equipment and creating new models.

The report clarifies that over the past few months, the electronic warfare system on the tank has been significantly improved. It is noted that additional protection of the engine compartment has been added to the defense of the upper hemisphere.

The press service also reported that Uralvagonzavod continues to work on improving the protection of the tank, as well as on improving its operational and technical characteristics. The emphasis is on increasing the survival rate of tanks and the safety of the crew.

Rostec announced on May 7 that the Russian T-90M, T-72B3M and T-80BVM tanks can be considered the best production tanks in the world. This was stated in the materials for the meeting of the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, with Russian President Vladimir Putin. It was noted that these tanks are maximally adapted to modern combat conditions.

At the same meeting, Putin noted that Rostec had demonstrated very good growth in civilian production in the context of a special military operation. Chemezov noted that the profit of the state corporation has increased fourfold in 10 years. In general, revenue from civilian products amounted to 1 trillion 120 billion rubles.
