Dubrov announced an interesting experiment during the second spacewalk.

In the program of the 75th mission to the International Space Station (ISS), two spacewalks are planned for members of the Russian crew - an interesting experiment will be conducted during one of them. This was announced on June 23 by Roscosmos cosmonaut Peter Dubrov, answering a question from Izvestia.

"Anna Yurievna [Kikina] and I will perform it, we have completed full training. And Sergey Teteryatnikov, who will fly to us on the Crew Dragon ship when we are already on board — he will support our exits by operating a European robotic arm," Dubrov explained, speaking at a press conference in TASS.

He noted that spacewalks are scheduled for November 2026 and January 2027. The astronauts will leave for the ISS from Baikonur on July 14. The planned duration of the crew's work on board will be 261 days.

Dubrov said on the same day that those who want to become astronauts need to understand that this is not a temporary job, but a vocation to which they need to devote themselves. He noted that it is necessary to devote oneself to this activity and make every effort that is available to successfully and effectively complete all the training and overcome all the difficulties that will stand in the way.

On June 18, the main and backup crews of the Soyuz MS-29 spacecraft began comprehensive exam training before their flight to the ISS on July 14. Both crews will take turns training on the simulators of the Soyuz MS manned spacecraft and the Russian segment of the ISS.
