Sobyanin presented prizes for advanced developments in the field of medicine

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin presented the city awards for advanced developments in the field of medicine. 54 specialists of the leading medical scientific complexes of the capital were awarded.

According to a message in the Maks messenger, the award was given to specialists for creating an algorithm for the diagnosis and personalized therapy of diffuse B-large cell lymphoma, depending on the molecular genetic profile. The authors of a comprehensive system of treatment and accelerated recovery of patients with degenerative spine diseases were also noted.

In addition, the award was awarded to the developers of the program for early detection, prevention, reduction of morbidity and improvement of the effectiveness of gastric cancer treatment in Moscow.

Successes in the introduction of industrial CAR-T-cell therapy in the work of Moscow medical institutions and the successful application of this method in children with refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia were also noted. Awards were also given to the creators of treatments for blindness due to eye injuries and burns based on autotransplantation of stem cells.

Among the awardees are specialists from the Morozov Children's City Clinical Hospital, the Botkin Moscow National Research Medical Center, the S.S. Yudin State Clinical Hospital, the Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University, the Kommunarka Moscow Medical Center, the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, and the A.S. Loginov Moscow National Research Medical Center.

Prizes in the field of medicine have been awarded in the capital since 2002. Over the past years, the award has been awarded to 144 projects, the authors of which were a total of more than 1.1 thousand people. In total, six prizes are awarded to teams of specialists. The amount of each of them is 3 million rubles. The amount is distributed among the authors in equal parts.
