Sobyanin assessed the effectiveness of the technology pilot testing system

Since 2020, 570 companies have successfully tested their technologies on the basis of the Moscow Innovation Cluster. Every third of them eventually became a partner of Moscow, according to the channel of Sergei Sobyanin's personal blog in the Maks messenger.

The volume of contracts concluded with the city reached 12.5 billion rubles, and the total revenue of test participants last year alone amounted to almost 124 billion rubles. "Since the beginning of this year alone, we have already launched 40 new tests. There are still many promising projects ahead that will make life in Moscow more comfortable, safer and more technologically advanced," the head of the capital wrote on his blog.

The capital's technology companies apply for the i.moscow/pilot, test promising developments at 325 real-world facilities in the city, and directly reach large customers across the country. The program covers all key areas — from construction, IT, manufacturing, housing and communal services and transport to medicine, education and sports.

One of the most important areas is the safety of urban infrastructure, Sobyanin stressed. For example, the Moscow-based Thermoelectric company has developed a smart Thermosensor system that helps prevent fires caused by faulty wiring. The development has been on the market for several years, but it was only after pilot testing that its active implementation began, said the mayor of Moscow. The system was adopted by JSC United Energy Company: the total volume of purchases reached 10 million rubles.

Moscow-based developers from Coder Lab have created a convenient platform for conducting computer science and digital science lessons. In particular, she collects detailed analytics for each student and tells the teacher who needs help and what they need. This approach helps to select tasks for the level of specific students and frees teachers from unnecessary paperwork, Sobyanin noted.
