The Air Defense forces intercepted 462 drones and five Storm Shadow missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their area

The Russian Air Defense Forces shot down five British-made Storm Shadow air-launched cruise missiles and 462 drones during the day. This was announced on June 23 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"Air defense systems shot down 13 guided aerial bombs, five UK—made Storm Shadow cruise missiles and 462 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles," the ministry said.

The Defense Ministry also noted that since the beginning of the special military operation, 671 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 163,145 drones, 662 anti-aircraft missile systems, 29,803 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,736 MLRS combat vehicles, 35,375 field artillery and mortars, as well as 64,190 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.

Anti-UAV training has been deployed in all military districts of the country.

Over the past night, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 143 Ukrainian UAVs over the regions . The attack was reflected in the period from 20:00 Moscow time on June 22 to 07:00 Moscow time on June 23. The drones were shot down over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Rostov and Astrakhan regions, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Adygea.
