The number of graduates who scored 100 points on the Unified State Exam in history increased from 155 last year to 260 this year. This was announced on June 23 by Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov at the II World Congress of School History Teachers.
"The number of history students has increased, and we are also pleased about this: from 155 people last year to 260 this year," TASS quoted Kravtsov as saying.
The minister also said that the average test score of the Unified State Exam in history in 2026 increased from 55.8 to 57.8, and the share of high-scoring students increased from 11.7% to 15%.
The press service of the Ministry of Education of Russia reported on June 18 that according to the results of the main period of the Unified State Exam in history, literature, Russian language and chemistry, 5,263 people received the maximum score of 100 points.
The first results for the Unified State Exam in 2026 began to arrive to graduates on June 15, and the very next day it became known about the increase in the number of history students in the country. This indicator increased by 4% compared to the previous one.
