Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN declared his readiness for negotiations

Kiev is ready for direct negotiations with Moscow on ending the conflict, but this willingness is not unlimited. This was announced on June 22 by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN, Andriy Melnyk.

"Ukraine is ready for direct negotiations with Russia to achieve a just and lasting peace in accordance with the UN Charter. But our patience is not unlimited. Melnyk also added that Kiev's willingness to freeze the conflict along the current line of contact is already a big concession to Moscow.
