Ushakov pointed to the relevance of Russia's nuclear proposals on Iran.

Russian proposals on nuclear issues in the situation with Iran remain in force. This was announced on June 23 by Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov.

"I want to say that the relevant Russian proposals on one of the main ones, that is, nuclear issues, remain in style," Ushakov told reporters on the sidelines of the XII Primakov Readings International Scientific and Expert Forum.

He also noted that Russia welcomes the conclusion of the memorandum between the United States and Iran and hopes that the negotiations between the two countries will be productive. In addition, he stressed that countries still have a long way to go before achieving sustainable peace.

Counter risk: Iran may block the Strait of Hormuz again

The fragile agreements between Washington and Tehran are on the verge due to Israel's tough stance.

The Press TV channel, citing Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi, reported that Iran and the United States have agreed to create four specialized working groups on conflict resolution issues. The parties also agreed to create a special contact point between the states on the issue of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
