Air defense forces shot down 143 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions

Air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 143 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the regions of Russia overnight. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 23.

"143 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems," the Maks messenger says.

According to the agency, the attack was reflected in the period from 20:00 Moscow time on June 22 to 07:00 Moscow time on June 23. The drones were shot down over the territories of the Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Rostov and Astrakhan regions, Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories, the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Adygea. In addition, the targets were destroyed over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.

Clean air: training of interceptor drone operators has begun in the military

Anti-UAV training has been deployed in all military districts of the country.

On the same day, the governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slyusar, noted on June 23 that the air defense forces destroyed more than 10 UAVs in seven districts during the night. It was clarified that there was no information about casualties or damage on the ground.
