The Interior Ministry recalled the requirements for passport photos
Personal photos of a citizen for a passport can be black and white or colored, but they must correspond to the age of the person on the day of application. This was reported on June 23 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
"Personal photos must be identical and correspond to the age of the citizen on the day of submitting the application for the issuance (replacement) of a passport, in black and white or color, 35 x 45 mm in size with an image of a face without a headdress," RIA Novosti quoted the statement.
At the same time, the rule on the absence of a headdress provides for an exception for people whose religious views do not allow them to appear and show themselves uncovered in front of outsiders. In this case, it is allowed to use a headdress that does not hide the oval of the citizen's face.
