European Parliament member Fernand Kartheiser on June 22 regarded the refusal of Western countries to publish an article by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov as a sign of weakness.

"Instead of a clash of ideas, their suppression is chosen. Instead of the courage to enter into a discussion with an opponent, censorship is used," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
