Polish media reported on the return of Ukrainian awards by the Polish senator
Michal Kaminsky, a member of the Polish Senate, has decided to return two state awards to Ukraine amid worsening relations between Kiev and Warsaw. This was reported by 300Polityka on June 22.
"Dear Mr. Ambassador, in connection with the actions and statements of [the President of Ukraine] Vladimir Zelensky, who met with the support of all former presidents of Ukraine and the overwhelming majority of the Ukrainian political community, I decided to return two state awards of Ukraine, which I was awarded for my activities in the name of European integration of Ukraine," Kaminsky is quoted in the publication.
