The reference stand of Russian organic wine was presented in Russia for the first time

In Moscow on June 22, an exemplary shelf of Russian wine of the future, an organic drink of domestic production, was shown to the general public for the first time.

Grapes grown without fertilizers are used to create organic wine. To date, the state has officially certified 14 wineries in the regions from the Crimea to the Stavropol Territory.

"Organics has recently shown very, very good development results. It is in the field of organic winemaking. If a couple of years ago we had 50,000 bottles a year, today they are already five times more. Already 250 thousand. And this year we expect that there will be up to half a million of them," said Alexander Chumak, deputy head of Roskachestvo.

Nikita Kuznetsov, Director of the Department for the Development of Domestic Trade at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, noted that this area is currently trending. He added that the agency considers this a promising concept that can further increase consumer interest in wine as a separate category.

A tasting of the rarest collectible wines took place in Crimea on June 20. Some samples are almost 100 years old. There are unique specimens that were even evacuated to the rear during the Great Patriotic War to be preserved. They were evaluated by the best experts in the country.

A new symbol of southern Russia appeared in Gelendzhik in June — the Bely Cape wine city. Its main gem is the Lev Golitsyn Wine Museum, which is called the father of the domestic production of this noble drink.
