U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crashes in Alaska
An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter of the US Coast Guard crashed in Alaska. This was announced on June 22 by the United States Coast Guard Service in the Arctic region (USCG Arctic) on the social network X.
"Rescuers and search and rescue services have now arrived at the scene," the publication says.
The crash occurred near the city of Sitka in Alaska. No deaths or injuries have been reported.
An American F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet also crashed in Yakima County, Washington, on June 13. The aircraft crashed during scheduled training flights. As a result, a forest fire started at the crash site.
