The Russian national team won the team competition at the Junior World Diving Championships

On June 22, the Russian national team became the winner of the European Junior Diving Championship in mixed team competitions.

The Russian national team consisting of Nadezhda Trifonova, Ilya Nadeev, Alexandra Kedrina and Miroslav Kiselyov scored 376.95 points at the end of the jumps, significantly ahead of the competitors. The second place was taken by Italian athletes, who earned 350.15 points, and the Ukrainian team rounded out the top three with a score of 327.20 points.

The competition was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. The + competitions within the framework of the European Championship will last until June 28.

Russian synchronized swimmers Emilia Osiyuk and Maria Pakhomova, who won gold at the European Youth Championships, arrived at Vnukovo Airport on June 9. The girls were greeted by fans with Russian tricolours, flowers, songs and a loaf. The athletes scored more than 180 points for their performance and snatched victory from the couples from Spain and France.

Following the results of the European Synchronized Swimming Championships, which took place in Luxembourg from June 4-7, Russian synchronized swimmers won gold in all seven disciplines. The second place in the medal standings was taken by the Spaniards with four silver medals, the third by the French athletes with two silver and one bronze medals.
