Five passenger cars collided in the Moscow region on the M-9 Baltia highway, injuring four people. This was reported on June 22 in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region.

"Today, at about 16:25 Moscow time, a traffic accident occurred on the 59th km of the M-9 Baltia highway. According to preliminary information, five passenger cars traveling in the same direction collided," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

As a result of the accident, four people, including a five-year-old child, received injuries of varying severity. All the injured were taken to medical institutions.

Operational services are working at the scene of the incident. Police officers are establishing the circumstances and causes of the incident, and an investigation has been launched into the accident.

A source from Izvestia reported on the same day that a car had run over a group of workers in the Khamovniki district of the capital. The accident occurred on Novoluzhnetsky passage. According to preliminary data, three people were injured.
