The Czech government has not included President Petr Pavel in the list of the national delegation to the NATO summit in Ankara. This was announced on June 22 by the Idnes portal.
"The Cabinet of Ministers has decided that the delegation will include Prime Minister Andrei Babis and Ministers of Defense and Foreign Affairs Jaromir Zuna and Petr Matsinka. Thus, it seems that the summit will be held without the participation of President Peter Pavel," the article says.
The publication clarifies that the delegation will be headed by Prime Minister Andrei Babish. It is noted that Pavel stated his desire to appeal the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to the Constitutional Court.
