Three people were injured by a grenade explosion in Arkhangelsk

In the village of Tsiglomen near the Arkhangelsk Brick Factory, three people were injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device. This was reported on June 22 in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Arkhangelsk region.

"Two local residents, a man and a woman, were drinking alcoholic beverages near garages, and an acquaintance who was also intoxicated approached them. During the verbal conflict that arose, the man who came began to threaten that he would detonate the grenade he had brought with him, after which an explosion occurred," the agency wrote in the Maks messenger.

As a result of the incident, three people were injured, two of whom were hospitalized. The alleged instigator of the explosion had a traumatic amputation of his right arm at the elbow joint. The second man received multiple wounds to various parts of his body. The woman who was with them was also injured, but she refused to be hospitalized.

The Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Arkhangelsk has opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, transfer or carrying of explosives or explosive devices").

On the same day, an improvised device exploded in the hands of a teenager in New Moscow. According to the Izvestia source, a group of teenagers made a homemade grenade and left it on the street in a communal apartment. Later, another child picked up a dangerous object, after which an explosion occurred. Local residents said that a group of teenagers fled the scene.
