Over the past weekend, 11 residents of the Tula region suffered as a result of fraud. The total damage exceeded 1.7 million rubles.
One of the victims was a 51-year-old resident of Novomoskovsk. According to the woman, the scammers lured 445 thousand rubles from her under the pretext of treating her son, who allegedly ended up in a Moscow hospital. This is reported by TSN24.

In Chita, a man lost about 1.2 million rubles. The victim received a message in one of the messengers asking him to follow the link and participate in the voting. To participate, authorization was required through the Gosuslugi portal. After clicking on the link, the resident of Chita received an SMS message allegedly about downloading data from his personal account. The man made a phone call from the message, and the interlocutor convinced him to transfer the savings to a "secure" account.
