Lada Iskra entered the top three bestsellers of the brand for the first time

For the first time since entering the market last summer, the Lada Iskra model has entered the top three bestsellers of the Lada brand. This happened last 25th week of this year, when 765 Iskra family cars were sold, the analytical agency Autostat reported on June 22.

Lada Iskra had never been higher than fourth place before, and it was regularly outpaced by Granta, Vesta and Niva Travel. Last week, Iskra was ahead of the Niva Travel SUV.

As for the entire Russian car market, from June 15 to June 21, Lada Granta (2,771 units) became the leader in sales, Haval Jolion (2018 units) and Tenet T7 (1,594 units) also entered the top three. The top five were completed by Lada Vesta (1,317 units) and Tenet T4L (976 units).

Lada Iskra is on the sixth place in the overall standings, slightly ahead of the Lada Niva Travel SUV (756 units). The top ten was rounded out by Geely Monjaro and Belgee X50+, as well as Lada Niva Legend.

A total of 28,000 new passenger cars were sold in Russia last week, which is 27.2% more than a week earlier and 18.8% higher than a year ago.
