The repair of the Dneprovskaya power transmission line feeding the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) was completed last night. This was announced on June 22 by Alexey Likhachev, CEO of Rosatom State Corporation.

"We managed to finish work on the second power supply line, on the Dneprovskaya line," RIA Novosti quoted Likhachev as saying.

He also expressed the hope that in the coming hours, another permanent power transmission line will be connected to supply the station.

The nuclear power plant was completely cut off from external power supply for the 20th time on June 20, the IAEA reported on the same day. This was due to a problem with Ferroalloy-1's internal power transmission lines. The agency's inspectors recorded the automatic transition of emergency diesel generators to work to ensure cooling of the reactor core and other important elements.

The day before, the IAEA announced the start of repair work on the Dneprovskaya line. It feeds the NPP and has a complex technical component. The restoration of power lines was carried out as part of a local ceasefire.
