Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova and Czech representative Linda Noskova won the WTA 500 doubles tournament in Berlin on June 22.

In the final match, Alexandrova and Noskova beat Italian Sara Errani and American Nicole Melicar 6-2, 6-4 in 1 hour and 2 minutes. For the 31-year-old Russian, this title became the third in her career at WTA doubles tournaments and the second in 2026. In February, Alexandrova, along with Australian Maya Joint, won the WTA 500 tournament in Abu Dhabi, Sport-Express reports.

In turn, 21-year-old Noskova won the WTA doubles tournament for the first time. The WTA 500 tournament in Berlin was held on grass courts, and its prize fund exceeded $ 1.2 million.

Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva rose from sixth to fifth place in the updated WTA rankings on June 15, repeating her best career achievement.
