The Russian Armed Forces have established control over the airspace of the Red Estuary

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation control the airspace over the Red Estuary, and enemy movement is minimal. This was announced on June 22 by the head of the unmanned systems forces of the 31st motorized rifle regiment of the 25th combined arms army of the Zapad group of forces with the call sign Zhdan.

"We don't let the enemy completely exhale, they are afraid to move. Both day and night, we constantly monitor the airspace over the Krasny Estuary. The enemy's movement is minimal," he said.

In addition, the chief of troops said that the regiment has its own laboratory, which produces its own designs and upgrades drones. He cited the example of the new drone "Thunder," which he called "our baba yaga." According to him, the payload of such a drone reaches up to five kg.

He also noted that before entering Krasny Estuary, the servicemen completely filmed it for a photo plan, a video plan and to track changes. According to him, during a daily flyby of the territory, enemy shelters, antennas and places where the enemy may be located are visible. He said that even an open door could be the reason for suspicion. After such finds, reconnaissance begins to work and, according to its results, a fiery defeat is inflicted.

The soldier clarified that the enemy had practically stopped supplying reserves and manpower to the settlement due to the high risk of being noticed. He added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have stopped using any transport.

Zhdan said that the troops are now moving 15 km inland from the Red Estuary. He stressed that this is due to the improvement of equipment and radio sensors.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense reported that in the northwestern part of Krasny Liman, the Russian military captured 10 Ukrainian strongholds and cleared 46 buildings of Ukrainian formations. During the day, up to 30 militants, two cars, an ATV and six remotely controlled robotic complexes were destroyed in the city.

On June 21, the Russian Armed Forces eliminated a group of Ukrainian Armed Forces militants who were trying to retreat from Krasny Liman. It was noted that the operation was carried out in the village of Shchurovo. The crew of the Su-34 multi-role fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) took part in it.
