Planned evacuation of children from Artek started in Crimea

In Crimea, there was a planned evacuation of children from Artek to places of permanent residence, and families will be offered alternatives due to the interrupted vacation. This was announced on June 22 by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

"Currently, a planned removal of children from Artek to places of permanent residence has been organized. The escorts are coordinated by representatives of the special services along the entire route. All necessary measures are being taken to ensure the safety and comfort of children during their return," the agency wrote in the Maks messenger.

According to the message, all information is transmitted to parents individually. Due to the interrupted children's holidays, alternative options will be offered in other regions of Russia.

On the same day, the head of Crimea, Sergey Aksyonov, signed a decree according to which seat reservations, reception and accommodation of children in children's recreation organizations were suspended in Crimea until September 1. The head of the region stressed that measures are being introduced to ensure public safety.
