An active offensive by Russian troops continues in Konstantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic, and residential areas are being cleared. This was announced on June 22 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

"In Konstantinovka itself, the active offensive actions of our fighters continue in the urban area itself. Residential areas are being cleared of the enemy," Pushilin told the Vesti news agency.

According to him, an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was destroyed in the south-west of the city, which made the logistics of the enemy extremely difficult. The Russian military has improved its positions in the central part of Konstantinovka.

In addition, active progress is underway in Krasny Liman and its surroundings, where Russian troops are seizing strongholds and clearing buildings. Pushilin also reported on the destruction of the last supply artery for Ukrainian militants in the Krasnolimansk area.

On June 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense showed footage of Russian fighters liberating residential areas in Konstantinovka from Ukrainian Armed Forces militants. In carrying out this operation, as the department explained at the time, the operators of unmanned aerial vehicles, who directed the assault units, helped.

The next day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of 104 buildings in Konstantinovka over the past day. There, the Ukrainian formations lost 85 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, 16 vehicles, a field artillery piece, 24 ground-based robotic complexes and 25 drone control points.
