The motocross championship and championship, which took place at the Igora Drive circuit, became a real test of sports skills. The results of the third stage were summed up there. He was watched from the stands by special guests — schoolchildren from Mariupol. The details were told by the correspondent of "Izvestia" Maxim Oblender.

Mariupol schoolchildren who have arrived at the race track are filming cars and motorcycles flying by on their phones over and over again. And they are vying to share their impressions.

"We looked at the autodrome — it's actually very amazing, the cars go so fast, it really impresses me," said Neanila Tsotsolo.

She also said that she had listened to a lecture where the audience was told about the types of races.

"Starting today, we have a lot to really tell," Anastasia Onishchenko said.

The height differences on the unique route reach 25 m. Motorcyclists sometimes fly 20 m. This is a stage of the St. Petersburg Motocross Championship and championship. Athletes of all ages are represented on the track, including the peers of these guys from Mariupol.

Teenagers don't just look at motorcycles with engines up to 650 cc. They also get acquainted with the infrastructure of one of the best race tracks in the world, Igor Drive. For ordinary viewers, the entrance to the media center or flight control room, where the judges can see every turn of all 10 tracks of the complex, is closed.

They were able to take a photo on the podium, examine the stands and the track of the car track. And during motocross, like the judges themselves, they evaluate the athletes' skills.

At the invitation of the government of St. Petersburg, the children have a rest at the camp and attend guided tours. And the trip to the motorhome "Igor Drive" was organized by the charitable Foundation for the children of Donbass, created by the Joint-Stock Bank ROSSIYA.

"This summer, it is planned to hold such day trips for more than 700 children from Mariupol. They will be shown the sights of St. Petersburg, they have a rich cultural program, but facilities of this level are something childish, probably special," said Kristina Fedoseeva, director of the charitable Foundation for Children of Donbass.

But the main miracle is ahead. Mariupol high school students and graduates will see the Scarlet Sails holiday with their own eyes.

"I'm really looking forward to it, I brought the dress, made the nails red, the dress is red," said Karina Zelenskaya.

She shared that she collected everything specifically for the "Scarlet Sails".

"I'm really looking forward to the Scarlet Sails, I really want to experience these emotions — this is a graduation that will definitely be remembered for the rest of my life," said Ivan Lezkano.

And, of course, they will take these vivid impressions home. These medalists, who graduated with honors, plan to study in their native region. And they will definitely tell you about the fireworks, and about the snow-white brig "Russia", about the white nights and how the heart freezes when motorcycles fly by with a roar.

The Moto Drive 2026 festival was held for the third time on June 6 and 7 at the Igora Drive autodrome. Each of the visitors found entertainment to their liking there: uncompromising sports, powerful music and exciting shows.
