The air defense forces shot down five more drones flying to Moscow.

Air defense systems destroyed five more drones heading for Moscow. This was announced on June 22 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"Five UAVs flying to Moscow were destroyed by the Defense Ministry's air defense system," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

Emergency services personnel are working at the crash sites, Sobyanin said. Taking into account the last five destroyed vehicles, the total number of downed drones has reached 79.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.
