Krasny Estuary is actually lost to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), and the units located in this area face serious difficulties. This was stated on June 22 by Yuri Kontrobai, a captured soldier of the 120th separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We have lost the Red Estuary, and there is no way we can get it back. If someone gets to the Red Estuary, then it's almost impossible to get out of there," he said.
