The parties to the U.S.-Iran talks in Switzerland have agreed to establish a high-level committee that will take over political oversight of the mediation efforts. This follows from a conscientious statement by Qatar and Pakistan following the talks in Burgenstock, which the Fars news agency quotes on its Telegram channel on June 22.

"The chief negotiators will report regularly to the High—level Committee and will head working groups dealing with nuclear energy, sanctions, as well as the Monitoring and Dispute Resolution Group to ensure effective implementation of the MOU," the document says.
