The Belgian national team drew with the Iranians in the second round match of the 2026 World Cup.

The national teams of Belgium and Iran did not reveal the winner in the second round of the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, having drawn. The match took place on June 21 at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA and ended with a score of 0:0.

The main referee was the Argentinian Dario Herrera. In the 25th minute, Iran's striker Mehdi Taremi hit the opponent's goal, however, after the intervention of the VAR system (video assistants of the referee. — Ed.) the goal was canceled due to the "offside" position.
