Russian military personnel eliminated a group of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), which was trying to withdraw from the Red Estuary of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed relevant footage on June 21.

The agency's message notes that the operation was carried out in the village of Shchurovo. The crew of the Su-34 multi-role fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) took part in it, acting in the interests of the Zapad group of forces of the Russian Armed Forces.

The target of the Russian fighters was an abandoned boarding house, which the Ukrainian soldiers made their temporary deployment point. It was hit by a FAB-1500 aerial bomb. As a result, up to 30 militants who belonged to the 63rd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were eliminated.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on the ongoing advance in the northwestern part of the Krasny Estuary. 53 buildings were liberated from the Ukrainian armed forces in the designated area. In addition to the manpower, the Russian Armed Forces successfully eliminated an HMMWV armored car, a pickup truck and four ground-based robotic complexes.
