The Israeli military has eliminated two Hamas representatives in the Gaza Strip who were involved in money transfers within the movement's financial network. This was announced on June 21 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in the Telegram channel.

The statement notes that the eliminated militants facilitated the transfer of more than 500 million shekels (about $ 170 million) to the military wing of the organization, using a network of dozens of couriers and currency exchange offices in Turkey and the Gaza Strip, and also operated within the framework of the Hamas-controlled financial system that provided funds to the Gaza Strip.

According to the IDF, these funds were used to pay salaries to militants and finance attacks against Israeli army personnel and Israeli civilians, including in recent months.
