Specialists from the Vector State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology have identified more than 30 new viruses carried by ticks, mosquitoes, as well as small mammals and bats. This follows from the data of Rospotrebnadzor published on June 21, which was reviewed by TASS.
A biobank was formed for the study, which included native biological samples from 50 regions of Russia. Scientists have studied more than 20 thousand specimens of vectors.
