The participation of football players from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) in the FIFA World Cup will not lead to the spread of the Ebola virus. This was announced on June 21 by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, epidemiologist, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Gennady Onishchenko.
"If they went, they were in quarantine, so it poses no threat," he said in an interview with TASS.
