A man died as a result of a fire in an uninhabited one-story house in Kamne-on-Ob, Altai Territory. This was announced on June 21 in the regional Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"As a result of a fire on an area of about 25 square meters. The roof, walls, ceilings and personal belongings inside the building were damaged. Unfortunately, a dead man was found at the scene," the agency said in a message on the Maks messenger.

It is specified that the fire occurred late at night in a house on Voroshilov Street. At the time of the arrival of firefighters, the building was burning with an open flame. As indicated in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 10 firefighters and two pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing. In addition, a link of gas and smoke protectors was involved in the work.

According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was careless handling of fire.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Leningrad region reported that one person was killed and three others were injured in a fire in a one-story private house in Vsevolozhsky district.
