The military ensemble held a concert dedicated to the Day of the Medical Worker for the North group of forces

Artists of the military song and dance ensemble of the Leningrad Military District held a festive concert dedicated to the Day of the Medical worker for the military personnel of the North group of forces. This was announced on June 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that this year the artists of the ensemble organized a solemn event to express their gratitude to the military doctors of the North group of forces in the Kursk region. As part of the event, popular pieces of music were performed, as well as dance numbers. The concert was attended by both medical staff and patients of the military hospital.

"What our doctors are doing is priceless, saving the lives of our soldiers and giving us health, returning to our families healthy, alive to our mothers, wives and children. <...> Today poetry sounded and, of course, honored the professional duty, professionalism of our doctors. They are the best here," said the singer of the ensemble with the call sign Sovremennik, noting that the ensemble tours medical institutions where they congratulate healthcare workers on their professional holiday.

Before the start of the solemn event, an award ceremony was held, during which the merits and achievements of particularly distinguished medical workers were noted.

"I am very pleased for such sincere congratulations from the artists <...> i am very happy with everything. At this difficult time, I would like to wish my colleagues the development of professional skills, success in their work, happiness, good health and well—being to them and their close families," said the head of the surgical department, Junior Sergeant Ivan Igorev.
