Putin congratulated healthcare workers on the Day of the Medical Worker
On June 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated healthcare workers on the Day of the Medical Worker.
"Dear friends, I cordially congratulate the large team of Russian healthcare workers on their professional holiday, all those who work in hospitals, hospitals and polyclinics, in ambulances in large federal centers and in rural medical and obstetric centers, who teach at medical universities and colleges," he said.
Putin noted that they are all united by a common goal — serving people and preserving the health of the nation, as well as responsible and painstaking daily work that requires high dedication. The Russian President separately thanked the medical staff who work in the special military operation zone, calling their work particularly difficult and associated with constant risk. In addition, he noted the doctors who provide care in historical territories.
"We will continue to strive to ensure that high—quality modern medical care is available throughout our large country," Putin stressed.
He added that the development of primary healthcare in Russia will continue, including the construction and modernization of medical institutions, as well as equipping them with modern equipment. According to him, biomedical technologies, including genetic and cellular developments, will be developed with the participation of scientists and leading technology companies, which will make it possible to identify and cure complex diseases in advance.
The President stressed the importance of ensuring that scientific achievements are quickly introduced into primary healthcare and practical medicine, while the medical profession remains prestigious and attracts young professionals who dream of realizing their vocation and talent.
"Dear friends, the work of a medical worker is of great national importance. I sincerely congratulate you once again. Thank you for your generosity and loyalty to the profession, for your courage, generosity and kindness. I wish you all good health, prosperity, and new achievements. Happy Medical Worker's Day!" the President concluded.
Muslim Muslimov, head of the National Association of Healthcare Managers and a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, sent a proposal to Mikhail Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, to launch the federal Mortgage for Medical Workers program. The initiative is aimed at solving the problem of personnel retention in the public health system. It was noted that NAUZ proposes to develop a preferential mortgage program for healthcare workers as a strategic solution.
