Zelensky returned the Order of the White Eagle to Poland by mail
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky sent the Order of the White Eagle to Poland by mail, which he had previously been deprived of, Ukrainska Pravda reported on June 20.
"Zelensky mailed the Order of the White Eagle to Polish President Karol Nawrocki, who had previously decided to deprive the Ukrainian leader of this award," the article says.
The Ukrainian leader posted on social networks photos of the award from the post office and a dispatch form, in which the office of the President of Poland is indicated as the recipient.
On June 19, Navrotsky deprived Zelensky of the republic's highest state award, the Order of the White Eagle, due to the glorification of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA, an organization recognized as a terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation).
After that, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, said that Zelensky could now hang a Hitler Iron Cross instead of a reward. In turn, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, noted that Warsaw could transfer state awards that previously belonged to representatives of the Kiev regime to other Nazi collaborators.
