The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the liberation of buildings in Konstantinovka from the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Soldiers of the assault units of the Southern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation continue to clear residential areas of Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) from militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The Russian Ministry of Defense showed relevant footage on June 20.

The ministry clarified that the Russian fighters, working in small groups of two or three people each, identified those Ukrainian militants who did not have time to leave the city.

Modified TM-62 anti-tank mines were used to destroy the underground shelters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These shells, as explained in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, contribute to the guaranteed elimination of both the object itself and the enemy's manpower.

The entire mopping-up process was recorded by Russian operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). They assisted the Russian Armed Forces from the air, monitoring the situation in the area where the operation was conducted. It is thanks to the coordinated actions of its units, as the ministry added, that the Russian Armed Forces successfully continues to expel Ukrainian militants from Konstantinovka.

The Russian Defense Ministry reported on the same day that the Russian Armed Forces had vacated 94 buildings in Konstantinovka over the past few days. During the same period, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 95 militants, two armored combat vehicles, 15 vehicles, two field artillery guns and 21 ground-based robotic systems. Currently, the liquidation of scattered Ukrainian groups of the 28th and 100th mechanized brigades continues in the southwestern part of the city.
